Across the US, customer service jobs — and other roles like them — were leaving. Some went overseas. Others vanished into automation, consolidation, or quiet shutdowns. Whole communities that had built their economies around call centers watched the work walk out the door.
Brian Auville had been at two of those call centers when they shut down. The first was in Johnson City, Tennessee. The second was Pennington Gap, Virginia — a closure that erased 20–30% of the area's jobs overnight, and it was the one that decided it for him. Rather than chase another job that might disappear, Auville started planning something different: a business that could put that work back inside American homes, on terms the workers actually controlled.
He conceived the plan in 2014. In 2016 he legally formed Auville Resources Company and joined the Arise Platform as an Independent Business. The bet was simple — motivated Americans, given an honest platform and direct support, can deliver Fortune 500-grade customer service from home.
Today, Remote Customer Care services — in some form or fashion — more than 30% of all Fortune 500 companies, and we do it from the USA. Across the country, remote agents are working from their own homes, and America is steadily getting back many of the service and telecom jobs that left.
We aren't claiming we made that happen alone. But we're proud to be one of many companies that have banded together to bring this work back home.
